As Bikers, a lot of us are new to the internet.
And are not aware of the dangers of being on the internet.
You should know that what you do on the internet is tracked and recorded and can not be taken back, and may place your life and or your Brothers in danger.

We are our own worst enemy. If you don't want it known, don't put it out there.

With that said, I will tell you a little bit about the Chosen Few website and why the site is the way it is.

First let me say:
The Chosen Few Motorcycle Club is an Outlaw Motorcycle Club, Not an AMA club. Our membership and members are not registered or listed or recorded anywhere. Our website does not contain a listing of the Chosen Few Chapters or Chosenfew membership, nor will it ever. This is for our own protection.

Our website exists for the sole enjoyment of the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club , Our Families, and Our Guests.
The website proclaims to the world, that we are the Origional Chosen Few Motorcycle Club, that we exist, and will continue to exist forever.

Our websites main function is to entertain the public and to inform the informed, and sometimes the other way arround.

Like Marvin Gay's song, it's time we all knew a little bit about "What's going on".

And so I pass this WARNING, and information along to you. Always keep this warning in mind as you use the internet.

To those of you who are computer geeks, bare with me, these things may seam simple, but they need to be stated again and repeated, because some of us may have forgotten.

Forgive me if I jump around a bit, I'm a biker not a writer.


NEVER FORGET: You are not anonymous, on the internet. Just because your face is not seen you should know that the internet already has tools inplace, to find out who you are and where you are.

Know that when you are connected to the internet, the whole world is connected to you and your computer. (Get yourself a good firewall program and install it on your computer.)

And everything you do on the internet is always permanently recorded somewhere, and I do mean always. What you put out there can never be taken back.

The computer that you are using to connect to the internet and your internet service provider, the company that connects you to the internet, both have "unique identifers" built in to identify you and your activity on the internet.

As you use your browser (Internet Explorer, NetScape, Opera, FireFox, Etc ..) to type in the address of a website you want to request and view or click on a link, - the browser sends your "unique identifier" along with the requested URL in the browsers header file , over the internet, and to the address of the server that hosts the webpage you requested. A log file , on the server, records your request, "unique identifier", and address, and the server sends your requested files back to your computer using your address that was sent in your browser header file.

As your internet webpage request travels across the internet,from your computer to the host server and that requested webpage file is returned back to your computer, a traceable trail is created on every computer, network, and system that it passes through. Almost all servers have log files and a permenent backup file system. A record is even recorded on your own hard drive and in your computer browser and at your ISP.

Some of the information in the header file can be faked, but the path that the information takes and the trail it leaves is usually out of your control.

If you have the right software maybe you can delete the recorded record from your computer and browser history, but KNOW that copies of your record will live forever somewhere out in cyberspace.

If you are sending any private information, club business, credit card, or bank account info just know that it may be intercepted ,viewed and recorded along the way from anywhere in the world.

People, businesses, and governments world wide , are using the internet to profit and for snooping. It is a lot cheaper to advertise, market, and sell on the internet then it is on TV, radio, or in the news paper. You even get world wide coverage for the same effort.

At this time the internet,like air,is public domain, and no one person, company or government owns or controls it. Being public domain the government or government agencies, do not need warrents or court permission to monitor and record the traffic that passes through it's national borders.
There is now a big government push to convert everything to wireless, then everything can easily be snatched right out of the air and monitored. No more phone taps will be necessary. Using the excuse of national security the government is now openly monitoring and recording ALL phone calls,and internet traffic, even yours. In the past they did it in secret using large government computer systems and a secret program called Conivor. Now as a move to fight terrorism the government has openly admitted that they are doing it and using computers to lisen and search for key words that may be used in each phone conversation. This also applies to what you do on the internet. If they come for you, one of the first things they will take to use against you is the information on your computer.

Remember and Don't forget that when you fly colors, outlaw motorcycle clubs fall under the guidelines of terrorist groups, along with gangs and the Mofia. The Rico act, recorded phone conversations, and internet tracking are all tools that are being used against us too. REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT IN A SOCIAL CLUB, YOU ARE IN AN M.C. Don't be caught sleepin.

Because of the large amounts of tax free unreported profits made on the internet and the ease that money can be transfered world wide each government is gearing up to monitor the internet activities of all of it's citizens and regain lost tax revenue.

People and companies that are located outside of the country that you reside in do not have to follow the laws of your country. Any internet laws that your country may pass are not applicable or very inforcible outside of your country. ( Unless the countries have established a treaty or agreement!)

To help maintain its control of the flow of money and wealth the government forces banks and credit card companies and employers to keep strict records and to make their records of money transfers always available to them so it can track your money flow through your social security number.

So now you are asking what does all of this have to do with our website, or the internet.

Now if someone from outside of the country or even here in the country can steal your identity, they can then transfer money taxfree ,using your social security number, through an account in your name on the internet to anywhere in the world disguised as you. This makes it posible to borrow, steal, and launder money anonymously and undetected. The trail will lead back to you, not them.

I won't mention any names, but It is now a common internet practice ,and a very profitable one, for companies to set up websites for the sole purpose of collecting information, selling information, or selling and redirecting web traffic to advertisers.

They attract you ,the victim, by giving away free webhosting, websites, e_mail accounts, software downloads, games , emusic, and ring-tones, screen savers or web downloads just so they can get your private information, monitor your activities and advertise to you and all of the people that come to your free web site. All this information is then collected and sold to database vendors, who then resell it to anyone who can payfor it.

A lot of our fellow bike clubs have been tricked into using these free websites and services to host their Motorcycle Club websites. Not only are these sites cluttered with so much advertising that it is hard to enjoy their site, but thease sites are using state of the art computer programs , that run in the background undetected,to farm and steal personal information about you everytime you visit their sites. All emails sent to and from thease sites are farmed for saleable information. If you don't believe it, just take the time to read their acceptable use policy statement. Why do you think that they pay to set the site up, and then give it to you to use for FREE?

You should all be proud to know that The Chosen Few MC website is hosted on our own web server, leased controlled and paid for by the Chosen Few. We do not track or resale or steal any of your personel information.

Now for the fun stuff. - OUR PUBLIC guestbook -
The Chosen Few MC Website operates one of the few free and open public guestbooks that I know of on the internet. I want you all to really understand and apreaciate just what this means.

But first let me go over how the guestbooks work on other sites. On other websites the ownership of the guestbook software program belonges to someone else not the owners of the website. It is licened for use on that site. And everytime you write in their guestbook, you must furnish your name, email address, or other personal information before you can use the submit button. Their guestbook program also contains hidden fields that also collect other information about you behind the seans that you are never aware of. And when you hit the submit button, your information is gathered copied and collected and sent to a third party website, where it is added to their database for resale. Then your information is then forwared and added to the guestbook. Some guestbooks even use human monitors that review and aprove every posting before it is allowed to be added at a later date to the guestbook.

Now let me talk about our free and open public guestbook thats used on the Chosen Few MC website.
I wrote the computer code for our guestbook program. We own the program, and no information is sent out to any third party to be resold.
This means that we do not force you to register nor do we collect and resale your email address or any other information on you before we allow you to add your information to our guest book.
You have the privledge and are allowed to say just about anything you choose and to exercise your free speach. We only ask that you not promote any non biker or comercial stuff in the guestbook or say anything that may place other Brothers in danger.

Anyone can always email me if they want to have what they have posted removed from the guestbook.



SPAMERS: From time to time spamers and hackers that are using automatic computer marketing software to automaticly promote comercial websites attack our open guestbook. This software automatically places links in the guestbook to websites that market their promotional material. If you click on these links you will be directed to their advertised website listings,not to them. BUT AT THE SAME TIME harmfull software may be added to your computer. This allows them to use your computer to send out more spam to other guestbooks or other computers, but this time the spam will be tracked back to you, because it has origionated from your computer. If you notice your computer slowing down while you are on the internet other people have taken over control of your computer behind the seans and are using it to market thir material. This kind of spam is some heavy shit and hard to stop.

It can come from anywhere in the world and is sent through some innocent unknowing persons computer without them even knowing. NEVER send email to the email addresses posted in these links. They are either fake email addresses, or some innocent person, or even worse, email accounts setup to harvest your email address for resale to other advertiser as a validated email address. Also Don't get involved in forwarding and CC ing chain letters to all of your friends. This is only a spamers trick to gather your email address and all of your friends addresses.

When I run a trace, on them it leads back to some unknowing innocent computer user like you. So from time to time I am forced to come up with or write some trick computer code that is placed on our server and or into our guestbook to help identify these people. I usually follow the path of the money and who benifits from the spam.

When they slip up and make a mistake I can then identify and locate them. Then begin the process of having them shut down. As a last resort we can alway go after their sites. Not their physical sites but anything that will redirect or decrease their site traffic or client base, will decrease their cash flow. I find that thier competitors are usually very helpful. This is all very time consuming, and may look like nothing is being done. Anyway we all have better things to do with our time, and so should the attackers.

From time to time I program the guestbook to prevent everyone from entering certain keywords and or multiple URL's this helps stop the less knowledgeable spamers.
Like your computer, our guestbook is open to the whole world and I am always fighting off attacks of one form or another.
To have and keep a free and open guestbook requires a lot of hard work. That's all part of the game.


The Chosen Few Motorcycle Club website, has been designed so that it can be viewed on both old and new computers.

No third party video vewiers, flash, or external modules must be added to your browser to view our website. This is done on purpose, because we don't want anyone or any third party people looking arround in your computer when you visit our website. When you download and use these added modules to your browser ,to view websites that need them, you have to agree to their useage policy and let them and their clients look arround in your computer. This stuff may look cool, but just remember the story of the Trojan Horse.
I avoid these type of sites, for if I want to see animations, movies and trick 3D graphics, I'll turn on the TV. Iam more interested in the useful content the site may have to offer.


Most Outlaw Motorcycle Club websites are closed to the public and are only open to club members. Our website is very unique, and a exception to this. We have both public and privite areas.


Next I want everyone to know that when you search for the "Chosen Few MC" or "Chosen Few Motorcycle Club" in a serch engine our site is listed in the top 1% of the 78 million websites using thoes terms. This is no small acheavement and is not by accident. No amount of money can buy this kind ranking.

This allows us to be found, and it also results in spam attacks, and hundreds of emails sent to us a day.


Some of us have programs installed on our computer that automatically upgrade themselves when you connect to the internet. Or computers that the manufacturer can repair remotely, or programs that allow you to share your music files with other people on the internet. In all of these types of programs you have given others permission to come into your computer,look arround, and install whatever they want onto your computer. So don't be surprised when your computer slows down, or acts strangely.



WARNING!
"What's goin on" on the internet changes every hour, never let your guard down, or think that you are safe, or what you are doing is private. When they offer you something free to download from the internet, remembrer the story of the Greeks bearing gifts.

This is only a Few of the things you should know about our website and the internet.
